FOOD VENDOR INFORMATION

Contact Person: Nioma Lawson, (606) 248-1075

  1. Selection of food will be made to provide for a variety of foods (duplication of foods is NOT allowed) and fill available space. The previous year's vendors will be given first consideration. ALL DECISIONS MADE BY THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE ARE FINAL.
  2. Only coffee and hot chocolate beverages may be sold by food vendors -- no other beverages can be sold!
  3. Food tent/trailer space fee is $100.00 for noncommercial food vendors and $350.00 for commercial vendors for a 10' x 10" space. Additional space is provided at a charge of $10.00 per foot.
  4. Due to the growth of vendor electrical needs, The Fall Festival can no longer guarantee electrical power for all tents/trailers/booths. Electrical needs will be assessed on a first come/first served basis. The Fall Festival will provide, free of charge, one 110 volt 20 amp receptacle per tent/trailer/booth.
Additional electrical service will be charged as follows:

Each additional 110 volt 20 amp - #12 Conductor Extension Cord or 12/2 w/ground

$20

Each 110 volt 30 amp - No. 10/3 Type S/O

$25

Each 220 volt 30 amp - No. 10/3 Type S/O

Each 220 volt 40 amp - No. 8/3 Type S/O

$35

Each 220 volt 60 amp - No. 4/3 Type S/O

$40

  1. Those approved vendors must use extension cords with a minimum 12-gauge rating.
  2. All electrical requests must be submitted by September 1, 2008.
  3. Due to the limited supply of available electrical outlets, food tent/trailer vendors are encouraged to use non-electrical means to cook and keep warm.
  4. Food tent/trailer applicants must follow Bell County Health Department regulations. Food permits costing approximately $20.00 may be purchased, before The Festival, at the Bell County Health Department office on The Court on Cumberland Avenue or from the health department representative on the first day of the festival at The Festival site.
  5. All food vendors must provide a picnic table with benches or chairs to set up outside their tent/trailer for use by the people who purchase their product. If a tent/trailer opens without a picnic table, that tent/trailer will be closed down.
  6. Each organization will be responsible for maintaining a clean, litter-free area during the event and for cleaning up after the event. In order to support the recycling efforts in Bell County, we ask each organization to participate in the countywide recycling efforts by using biodegradable products during The Fall Festival.
  7. A contest for the most attractive food tent/trailer is held each year. The winner is presented with an award.
