GENERAL
INFORMATION
- To reserve a tent space,
complete this form and mail it to:
The Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival

- Applications must be
submitted by September 1, 2008. Applications submitted after September 1,
2007 will be awarded tent/trailer space if it is available and will be
charged an additional $15.00 late fee.
- General admission to The
Festival is $3.00 per person for adults for the entire three days. There
is no charge for children under 12 years of age.
- Vendors/demonstrators will
be given two free nontransferable admission bracelets. All
others must pay admission to the event.
- Festival hours are Friday,
Noon to Midnight; Saturday, 10:00 am until Midnight; Sunday, Noon to 6:00
pm. Vendors may close after 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Demonstrators may close at dark. All tents/trailers/booths are to
be open during these hours.
- Vendor space is
approximately 10' x 10'.
- Vendors/demonstrators
must supply their own tables, chairs, lights, and tents/trailers, or rent
tents from The Fall Festival at $100.00 per tent.
- Tents/trailers/booths must
be set up before Noon on Friday. Tents/trailers/booths may be set up on
Thursday between Noon and 9:00 pm by arrangement with The Fall Festival
Chairperson, on Friday morning by Noon. Vehicles may be brought up to the
tents/trailers/booths for unloading only. Please unload and remove
vehicles before setting up display.
- Due to the growth
of vendor electrical needs, The Fall Festival can no longer guarantee
electrical power for all tents/trailers/booths. Electrical needs will be
assessed on a first come/first served basis. The Fall Festival will
provide, free of charge, one 110 volt 20 amp receptacle per
tent/trailer/booth.

- Those approved vendors must
use extension cords with a minimum 12-gauge rating.
- All electrical
requests must be submitted by September 1, 2008.
- Participants are required
to maintain and decorate their spaces during the event and to remove all
trash as needed to keep display areas neat.
- Participants are
responsible for paying the 6% Kentucky Sales Tax to the Department of
Revenue, Frankfort, KY. The telephone number of the local office
in Corbin is (606) 528-3322. In the past, an agent of the Revenue
Department has been available at The Festival site.
- Full 24-hour security will
be provided. Personal possessions or cash should be kept in a secure area
during festival hours and removed at the end of the festival day.
- The Fall Festival reserves
the right to prohibit the sale of items inconsistent with the description
in your application, or not meeting the high standards set by The Festival
Committee.
- These rules and regulations
are binding on participants upon receipt of the application. Violation
of rules applicable to participants may lead to immediate dismissal or
cancellation of all rights to participate in this event or in future
events.
- No refunds will be
given after September 1, 2008 due to festival expenses.
