2007 Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival Pageant

Rules & Regulations

1. The contestant must be single, never married, never had a marriage annulled, and never had any children. Must be a full time student in an accredited Kentucky, Tennessee, or Virginia school system.

2. A contestant must be between the ages of 15 and 19 years old.

3. Contestants will be judged in the following categories:

*Evening Gown

*Interview Process (casual
wear attire needed)

 

 

4. There will be a Best Evening Gown Award, Miss Photogenic Award, Best Interview Award, and Miss Congeniality Award, as well as 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st runners-up.

5. The winner of the Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival Pageant must be able to fulfull her duties for the reigning year. Should the winner not be able to fulfill her obligations, then the crown and all prizes will be given to the 1st runner-up. All prizes will be announced at the Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival Pageant.

6. The responsibilities of the winner are as follows:

*to be present during the rest of the day at the Fall Festival (at negotiable times)

*to represent The Fall Festival in the Middlesboro Christmas Parade in December 2007

*to crown the 2008 "Miss Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival" winner at The Fall Festival on October 4, 2008

 

 

 

7. Entry fee for the contestant shall be $75.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE)

Winner of the Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival Pageant will receive a crown, sash, trophy and a $1000 scholarship to the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College Campus of your choice.

8. The top 10 from the pageant must be present on stage at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 6, 2007 at The Fall Festival stage, where the winners will be announced.

9. Judges' decisions are final -- no exceptions! No score sheets will be given out, however, comments will be distributed to the contestants.

10. The Fall Festival Committee reserves the right to cancel the pageant if less than 5 contestants enter.
